Jadwiga Wing

Jadwiga Wing, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch, MI. Jadwiga had lived in West Branch since 1987, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI. She was born to Ludwig and Leokadia (Osmolak) Budziszewska in Warsaw, Poland on January 5, 1929. Jadwiga enjoyed golfing and belonged to many golf leagues. She also liked going to Pinnacle Rehab many times a week and visiting residents at Bortz Health Care. Jadwiga is survived by her children: Renata (Henry Jr.) Sorensen of Rochester Hills, MI, Andrew (Roxanne) Wing of Lapeer, MI, Christina Brooks of Ferndale, MI; grandchildren: Andrews Jr. of West Pt., NY, Lauren, Ryan of Ft. Riley, KA; sister: Alina Budziszewska; and brother: Zdziszek Budziszewska. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy H. Wing, brother, Tadek Budziszewska, and son in law, Richard Brooks. A Memorial Service will be held this summer for her and her late husband, Roy. Their ashes will be buried at the Great Lakes Cemetery in Holly, MI.
