Jacqueline Iris Brown

Jackie Iris Brown, age 83 of South Branch, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at The Villa at Rose City. Jackie was born June 2, 1933 to John and Iris Hildabrand in Caro, MI. She had lived in South Branch since 1998, formerly of Lupton. Jackie enjoyed painting, hunting, camping, canoeing, dune bugging, snowmobiling, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jackie is survived by daughters, Mindy King of Lupton, Michelle (Bruce) Reetz of West Branch, Melissa (Dan DeRoso) Brown of Livonia, grandchildren, Wade Galer, Kelly (Kevin) Bulow, Chris Reetz, Blake (David Ketchen) Reetz, Travis Tinker, Jason (Lisa) Tinker, Michele (Joe) Clark, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchild. Also surviving are sisters, Rhea (Jack) McGregor of Rose City, Gwen (Don) Hale of Millington and many nieces and nephews. Jackie is preceded in death by husband, Blaine H. Brown in 2012, parents, John and Iris Hildabrand, and sisters, Maggie Balla and Jerry Reasner.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 3-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home in Rose City. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Burial will follow at Lane Heights Cemetery.
