John D. “Jack” LaViolette, age 84 of Lupton, passed away at his home Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Mr. LaViolette had lived in Lupton since 1984, formerly of Waterford. He enjoyed latch hooking, mosaic art, beading, fishing, bowling and mowing the lawn. Jack is survived by his wife Shirley Laviolette of Lupton, children, Timothy (Karen) LaViolette of West Branch and Suzanne (Charles) Kittrell of Houston, TX, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, Jim (Lucy) and Hank and his sister, Norma. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald, his brothers, Don, Bill and Raymond and his sister, Elizabeth. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
