Jack D. Berry

In loving memory of Jack Berry 1930-2006. Jack passed away August 4, 2006 at his home in West Branch. He had lived in West Branch since 1986 formerly of Rochester. Jack retired from the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam He also retired from The Grand Trunk Railroad in Pontiac. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting. He will be sorely missed.
Jack is survived by his wife of 56 years Janet Berry, and their children- Mike (Patty) Berry, Susan Cobb, Julia Phillips, Jackie (Skip) Braxton, Theresa (Herb) Shaw, Tammy (Jack) White, Tanya Dawe, and Shannon Carrell. 10 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. His sisters- Betty Schultz, Gertrude (Gene) Tipple, Jeanette Wait and brother Ivan Berry. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Berry.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Funeral Home in West Branch. The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to the service. Pastor Tom Bruscha will officiate with a veterans service following.
