Ivan Lavern Seeley

Ivan “Choo Choo” Lavern Seeley, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He was born to Jasper and Sarah (Barnett) Seeley on November 8, 1937 in Flint, MI. Ivan had lived in Prescott, MI since 1998, formerly of Flint. He married Kathleen Arnot on September 8, 1997 in Mt. Morris, MI. Ivan was a General Motor retiree and enjoyed going to yard sales.

Ivan is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Seeley of Prescott; children, Ivan L. (Lisa) Seeley II, Linda Marie (Curtis) Gabriel, Joseph Daniel (Susie) Seeley, and David Allen Seeley; step children, Charlyn Arnot, Robert E. (Tina) Arnot, Patricia Arnot, and Kathleen Susan (Rob) Beckley; 13 ½ grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Florence Marie Nelson and Dorothy Fern (Ronald) Reid; brother, Vernon Richard Seeley; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jasper John Seeley and Robert Jesse Seeley.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Clio, MI.
