Irene Kowalczyk

Irene Kowalczyk passed away Sunday October 26, 2008 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan she was 85 years old. Irene married her husband Tony on November 11, 1946 at Assumption Catholic Church in Detroit. Irene has been a resident of Laurel Park West in Livonia since 2007 formerly of St. Helen, Detroit and Redford. She was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and sending cards to people for all occasions. Irene is survived by her brother in law Henry Kurczyk of Royal Oak, MI, many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Tony Kowalczyk. Visitation for Irene will begin Friday October 31, 2008 from 5-9PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. The funeral will be held Saturday November 1, 2008 at 11:00AM at the St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen.
