Irene E. Morris

Irene E. Morris, age 85 of West Branch, passed away at her home Saturday, June 28, 2008 after an extended illness. Irene had lived in West Branch for most of her life. She owned and operated Irene's Beauty Shop for many years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Irene is survived by her son, Greg (Vickie) Morris of West Branch, grandchildren, Michelle Morris, Melanie Nolan, Christopher Morris and Jack Morris; great-grandchildren, Christopher Nolan, Ciara, Benjamin and Jamie Cowan and MacKenzie and Garett Morris. Also surviving is her brother, Glen Archambeau of Tawas and her sister, Delores Marshall of West Branch. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her son, Ron. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. The family will be present to receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate.
