Ione O. Roe

Ione O. Roe, age 83 of Clio, formerly of Lupton, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at McLaren Hospital in Flint . She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Lupton and she enjoyed ice skating, water sports, softball, board games, euchre and her kids and grand kids. Mrs.Roe is survived by her children, Dale (Carolyn) Roe and Grant (Patricia) Roe both of Flint, Terry (Sherry) Roe and Danny (Renee) Roe both of Columbiaville and Nancy (Gerald) Clemons of Clio, 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Also surviving are her sisters, Polly Matthew of Fairview and Essie of Florida. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Basil Roe, her son Steve Roe and her grandson, Nicholas Clemons. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 1-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the Bible Baptist Church in Lupton. Pastor Paul Heaton will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, South Branch.
