Ida E. Schneider

Ida E. Schneider, age 88 of Rose City passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. She had lived in Ogemaw County for most of her life and was a member of the St. Bridget Guild, Holy Family Catholic Church. Ida is survived by her children, Joan (Bill) Carter of Sarasota, FL, Larry (Debbie) Schneider of Fairfield Glade, TN, Randy (Peggy) Schneider of Clio and Terry Schneider of Rose City, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Ron (Mabel) Perry of Owosso. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence in 1992 and her daughter, Joyce Bell in 1968. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Klacking Creek. Fr. Miro Wiese will officiate with burial following at Holy Family Cemetery.
