Honora Anne Taylor

Honora Anne Taylor, age 86, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was born July 6, 1926 in Toronto, Canada to Charles Louis and Mary O’Mara (Comerford) Schweitzer. Honora married Cecil “Bud” Taylor on June 24, 1950 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Highland Park. He survives her. Also surviving are her children, Cynthia Anne (Michael) Bruwier of Eastpointe, Cathleen O’Mara Harmon of Tecumseh, Laurie Lynn (Troy) Debets, of Grosse Pointe Farms and Jennifer Elizabeth (Eric) Spencer of Roscommon, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Charles Schweitzer and her son-in-law Steve Harmon Sr. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate.
