Herbert John Meloche

Herbert John Meloche, 73 of West Branch, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Herb had lived in West Branch since 1978. He previously was from Dearborn, Michigan where he was an auto designer in the automotive industry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Herb is survived by his wife Sharon Meloche; daughters: Nicole (Paul) Zimmer, West Branch; Michelle Simpson, West Branch; Tracy (Dan) Taiariol, Macomb; Danielle (Jeremy) McGraw, Clare. Also Surviving are ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Herb has one brother, James (Janet) Meloche of Wixom. He is preceded in death by his son, Craig John Meloche. Visitation at the Steuernol McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. On Tuesday, October 8, 2013, visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Sam Cottle will officiate. Burial will follow at Ogemaw Springs Cemetery in West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
