Henrietta Vogan

January 13, 1919 — May 24, 2006

Henrietta Vogan, age 87 of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw. Mrs. Vogan had lived in West Branch since 1971, formerly of Flint. She was a member of the Churchill United Methodist Church and Women of the Moose. She was the first woman president of the Michigan Township Association and she served as Churchill Township Treasurer for 33 years. She enjoyed painting, fishing, country music, going to the casino and shopping, singing in the choir, lunch dates and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Henrietta is survived by her sons, Ralph (Carol) Vogan and Timothy (Darlene) Vogan both of West Branch, her daughter, Kathaleen (Terry) Benjamin of Prescott, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and her sisters, Viola Webster and Lottie Bryant both of West Branch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her sister, Carolyn and her brother, Theodore. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, May 28, 2006 from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 12-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Churchill United Methodist Church.
