Helen Diehl

Helen Iva Diehl age 76 of Lupton, passed away January 18, 2004 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday January 20, 2004 at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will begin at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday. Mrs. Diehl was born December 19, 1927 in Coleman MI to James and Lena DeJongh Mogg. She married Howard Diehl on February 14, 1948. The lived in Davison for 4 years, then moved to a family farm in Selkirk in 1953. She worked at Prestolite and Header Products from which she retired. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. Mrs. Diehl is survived by her husband of 55 years, Howard of Lupton, children--Katherine and Ken Moorhouse of Millington, Steve and Ginger Diehl of Rose City, Norma and Steve Pennington of West Branch, Scott and Billie Jo Diehl of White Lake, Ron and Lisa Diehl of Lupton, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Barbara (Brown) Crossnoe, Vivian (Owen) Autry and Janis Emerson, sister and brothers in law, Sally and John Minkler, Tom and Ann Diehl, Margaret Diehl and Florence Allen. She was preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren Arika Dantzer and Taylor Diehl, a stepbrother, Homer Allen and brother in law, John Diehl.
