Harvey W. Cypher, age 60, of St. Helen, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at his home. He had lived in St. Helen since 1971, formerly of Millington. Mr. Cypher was a member of the National Hunting and Fishing Club and the VFW Post #5680 of St. Helen. He served with the Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict from 1966 to 1972. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his grandchildren. Harvey is survived by his wife, Patricia of St. Helen, children, Harvey (Heather) Roles of Reese, Windy (Jermaine) Davis of Middlebury, IN, Cecilia (Anthony) Vella of Houghton Lake and Kenneth Worley of Blountville, TN, grandchildren; Miranda, Kaylee, Brandon, Lillian, Rayne, Anthony Jr. and Matthew. Also surviving is his mother, Arlene Cypher of St.Helen; his sister, Sharon (Charles) Sawyer of Houghton Lake, his brother, Jeffrey (Mary) Cypher of Millington and his 1 1/2 year old Brittany hunting dog, Babe. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Cypher Jr. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
