Harvey S. Bennett

Harvey S. Bennett, age 80 of West Branch, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Harvey had been a resident of West Branch for all of his life, retiring from the A & P Store after many years of service. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Harvey is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Schaiberger May of Rose City and Cindy (Mark) Baade of Flint, grandchildren, Curt, Tim, Joseph, Linsey and Carl and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Robert Bennett of Ohio and his sister, Norma Randus of Saginaw. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Bennett, a son, Tony Rogers and his parents, John and Hazel Bennett. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, September 4, at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Paul G. Ruediger will officiate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch.
