Harry E. Biermann, age 62 passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at his home after an extended illness. Harry had lived in Lupton since 1978. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the K of C #8948, and the remote control Air Raiders Airplane Club. Harry was the former co-owner of American Pleasure Products, retiring in 2008. Harry found joy in being outdoors with his family while mountain biking, snowshoeing, hiking, fishing and boating. He enjoyed volunteering with the Knights of Columbus, serving others and being active in his community. His main commitment in life was to his family, his loving wife and his Lord. Harry is survived by his wife Cindy of Lupton, children; Matt (Nikki) Biermann of West Branch and Hyatt Biermann of Grand Rapids, grandchildren; Conner and Kaylee and his sister, Marian (Tim) Lange of Villa Park, IL. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, July 18, 2010 from 3-9 p.m. with a K of C Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and a Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Technology Fund or Hospice of Helping Hands both of West Branch.
