Harold L. Klein

Harold L. Klein, age 60, passed away Sunday March 13, 2005 at Bay Medical Center in Bay City. Harold was born to Virgil and Mary (Diffin) Klein on January 24, 1945 in Alger, Michigan. He married Maxine L. Harrington on July 16, 1966. He had resided in Bay City since 2003, formerly of Long Lake. Harold was the Pastor of Edwards Full Gospel Church from 1974 to 1985, which he considered his life work. He was a member of the VFW of Lapeer. Surviving family members include his wife Maxine; children, Treasa (Jeffery) VanAken of Arcadia, FL, Jesse Klein of Long Lake, grandchildren--Derrick, Brittany and Courtney VanAken and Sabrina and Tanner Klein. Also surviving is Harold's mother, Mary Sian of Sanford, his sister Helen Burger of Springhill, FL, his brothers Virgil of Alger and Robert of Sanford, and his sister-in-law Kathy Keehl of St. Helen. He was preceded in death by his daughter Leisa, his father Virgil, his brother Melvin and his nephew Eldon. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday March 15, 2005 from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 12-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the New Life Christian Church (formerly Edwards Full Gospel Church), located 7 miles south of West Branch on M-30. Pastor James Englehart will officiate.
