Harold David Inman

Harold D. Inman, age 77, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Ascension St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw, MI. He was born on August 19, 1943 in Flint, MI to Harold and Donnabelle (Davis) Inman. Harold lived in Lupton since 1986, formerly of Burton. On June 22, 1963 he married Marlene Greenough in Flint.

Harold graduated from Kearsley High School in 1961 and was employed with General Motors for over 30 years. He played men’s fast pitch softball and one of the highlights of his softball career was earning the Class D Men’s State Champion Title. He played fast pitch softball in Flint and Roscommon and made many close friends along the way. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, chickens, his dog, Bentley and local wildlife. He especially loved the time spent with his family and grandchildren.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marlene Inman of Lupton, MI; daughters, Shelle (Jeff) Zeek of Swartz Creek, Rebecca (Dain) Donze of Lupton, and Deborah Hall of East Tawas; grandchildren, Jordan (Ryan) Lynch, Kelsey (Garrett) Long, Taylor Zeek, Reid Donze, Evan Donze, Annalise Donze, Lindsey (Ashley) Hall, and Sarah (Jakob Stack) Hall; great grandchildren, Nolan, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Emerson, Brinley, Evelyn, Lydia, Gianna, Jagger and Zayli; sisters, Sandy (Bob) Berry, Debbie Rush, Pam (Mark) Ragnone, and Elizabeth Downs; and brother, Pat (Kay) Inman; and many friends.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Joseph and brother, Ted Inman.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lane Heights Cemetery. Pastor Paul Heaton will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army.
