Cameron Cullin, age 93, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at his home in Rose City, MI surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 16, 1928 in Ypsilanti, MI to Harold and Ethel (Pearce) Cullin. Cameron was a United States Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Quick.
Upon retirement from Ford Motor Company (Wayne Assembly), he and his wife, Joyce, moved to their retirement home in Rose City, where they enjoyed over 30 years together. He was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed many “cross country” trips with their friends, especially his 80th Lake Superior birthday trip. #snowtrampforever
He enjoyed taking care of his home and yard, canoeing, New Year’s Eve campfires, golfing and TV.
Cameron is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; children, Cheryl (Jim) Vercelli, Tammy Krug, and Marri Sewell; stepson, Brian Smith; “Campa” to twelve grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Bud) Baumgartner and Kay (Dee) Brow; many nieces, nephews and their families and his extended family. He was “Up North Dad” to Judy Alarie and family, John & Deanna Stefanovsky, and special friends Robin & Bob McKinnon and Kelly & Jack McIntyre.
He is preceded in death by his son, Eric Cullin, parents, four brothers, three sisters, stepson, Scott Smith and foster sister, Minnie Schultz.
