Geraldine Adina Stafford

Geraldine Adina Stafford, age 92, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Grayling Munson Hospital. She had lived in St. Helen, MI since 1974, formerly of Ann Arbor, MI. Geraldine was born on March 10, 1924 in Flint, MI to Jacob and Myrtle (Clore) Karolainen. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Prudenville, MI and was a bus driver for the Roscommon School District for many years. Geraldine also taught Driver’s Education and volunteered in the St. Helen community. She owned and operated Jerry’s Clothes Closet in the late 1970’s.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Guy Stafford of Standish, MI and Santokh (Hari) Khalsa of Espinosa, NM; daughter, Terry (David) Price of Odessa, FL; daughter in law, Linda Stafford of Prudenville, MI; and 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Perry Stafford, and brother, Robert Karolainen.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
