Gerald "Jerry" James Adcock

Gerald James "Jerry" Adcock, age 73, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch, MI. He had lived in West Branch since 1970, formerly of Kawkawlin, MI. Jerry was born to William and Esther (Wetters) Adcock on June 6, 1941 in Bay City, MI. He was a member of the American Legion, American Legion Forty and Eight, and the Kiwanis. Jerry was a previous member of the First United Methodist Church. He coached girls softball during the late 70’s and was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, feeding the birds and deer hunting.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Knight) Adcock of West Branch, MI; children: Darrin of Alger, MI, Dawn (Rob) of Greenwood, IN, Dirk of Alger, MI, Amy (Erik) of Fairbanks, AK, and Mindy (Erik) of Indianapolis, IN; eleven grandchildren; 2 great grand daughters; sister in law, Georgeanne Adcock of Pinconning, MI and many extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Esther, brother, Derald Adcock, mother and father in law, Keith and Esther Knight, and grandson, Keith Mudd.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Tim Dibble will officiate.
