Gerald J. Brick

Gerald J. Brick passed away January 1, 2009 with his family by his side, he was 86 years old. Gerald had been a resident of West Branch most of his life except when he was working. He retired from Burrough Corp. in 1982 and moved back to West Branch. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church; the West Branch Moose Lodge #2015 and the American Legion Post #416 of St. Helen. Jerry served in the Marine Corps during WWII. Surviving family include his loyal companion Marguerite Mourer of West Branch, sister-in-law Mary Brick of Garden City and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Clarence, his twin brother Harold, Donald & Lucille Davis, Helen LeDuc, Luella Shearer, Dorothy Brick, and Marjorie Wangler. Visitation for Gerald will begin Sunday January 4, 2009 from 1-9PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral will be held Monday January 5, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. A Scripture Service will be held Sunday evening at 7:00PM. Father Miro Wiese OFM will officiate. Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or to Holy Family Catholic Church.
