Gerald Hayden Williams, age 86 of West Branch, passed away at the Brook Senior Living in West Branch on Friday, June 5, 2020 with his family by his side. He lived in West Branch since 1972. He was born on September 5, 1933 in Bay City, MI to Clifford and Harriet Williams. By trade, he was a mechanical engineer with several patents. He enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, his Dachshunds, walking, and going to Dairy Queen. Gerald was a veteran of the Korean War in the US Army.

Gerald is survived by his daughters, Dawn (Donald) Kinch, Terri Williams, Lori (Rick) Wangler and Jean (Bob) Wysocki; grandchildren, Patrick (Shannon Cline) Wangler, Anthony Wangler, Matthew (Nancy Jo Gratton) Wangler, Valerie (Jock Kartes) Wangler, Steven Wysocki and Stephanie Wysocki; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wangler, Patrick Wangler Jr., Gunner Wangler, Harper Jo Wangler, Dakota Rachow, Conrad Wangler and Jaxton Kartes; sister, Lois (Ron) Heatley, sister-in-law, Shirley Moore, brother-in-law, Mike (Judy) Davis, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Beverley Jean Williams, and brother, Robert Williams.

Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Compassus.
