Gerald C. King

September 27, 1916 — July 10, 2005

Gerald C. King, age 88 of West Branch, passed away July 10, 2005 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch since 2001, formerly of Pickford. He retired in 1974 from General Motors Truck and Coach in Pontiac. He was a member of the Light and Life Free Methodist Church in Lakeland, FL. Mr. King is survived by his wife Maxine of West Branch, children, Colleen (Leslie) Sellers of West Branch, Leonard (Sally) King of Bartow, FL, James (Patricia) King of College Place WA, grandchildren, Jonathan and David Sellers, Michael (Charlotte) King, Shiela (Gerald) Wise, Thomas, Gwendolyn, Adrienne, Jared and JJ King and great-grandchildren, Amber and Andrew Wise. Also surviving are his sisters, Velma Seddon of Zephyrhills, FL and Berniece Peacock of Rochester, his brother Henry King Jr. of Shelby Township and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Robert and Jack King. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday July 12, 2005 from 6-8:30 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Les Sellers and Rev. George Chouinard will officate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Church of the Nazarene, West Branch.
