George Owen Miracle

George Owen Miracle was born in Flint MI on November 6, 1929 to George and Verba Miracle. He departed this place on Monday, October 10, 2016. He was the second of four children. He grew up in Flint and Lupton MI. George graduated from Central High School in 1947. In 1948, he met Barbara Sharp (June 4, 1930 - October 18, 1985) of Owosso and they were married June 11, 1949. Together they had six children, Angela Miracle of Lupton, Kathy Malson of Harrison, Sherry Brooks of Fort Calhoun, NE, Michael Miracle of Grand Blanc, Suzette Ladner of Reed City and Lisa Roberson who preceded him in death in 2012. He worked for Michigan Bell Telephone in Flint, Baldwin and Reed City retiring after 37 years in December 1984. In 1989, he moved to Lupton and built a new home on 40 acres of family property. In 2002, he married Martha Harrington of Lupton.

He is survived by his wife, Martha and his children Angela, Kathy, Sherry, Michael and Suzette; Thirteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brother Leo Miracle of Davison and a sister Marilyn Schroeder of Lupton.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to the Hospice of Helping Hand in West Branch, MI.
