George J. Totten

George J. Totten, age 81, died March 16, 2005 at his home in Rose City. He had lived in Rose City since 1974, formerly of Pontiac. Mr. Totten attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mio and loved to eat at The Sunrise Cafe in Lupton. He also enjoyed all outdoor activities including walking. Surviving family members include daughters Pamela (Richard) Perillo of Rose City and Peggy (Mike) Strutz of Clarkston. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Kimberly, Donny, Danny, Stephanie and Gary and 2 great-grandchildren Ricky and Sammy. One sister Mick Doughty of Waterford and a brother Ted (Pat) Totten of Florida also survive. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty and a brother William. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held on Friday March 18, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Stoneback. Burial will be on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
