George Ellsworth Lahar Iii

George Ellsworth Lahar III, age 68, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home in St. Helen, Michigan. George has lived in St. Helen for the past 16 years previously of Clio, Michigan. He was born on December 26, 1946 to George and Irene Lahar in Flint, MI. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He belonged to the “S.A.L.” Sons of American Legion in St. Helen, MI. You could often find him hanging out with his friends at the Cedar Inn in St. Helen. His greatest love was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

George is survived by his wife of 15 years Mona, children George, Vickie, Brian, Mike and Jerry. He has 10 grandchildren, 10 brothers and sisters, and many many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the American Legion Post in St. Helen at 1:00PM. Pastor Rodney Morrison will officiate.
