George C. Denstedt

George C. Denstedt Jr., age 79, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at The Villa at West Branch, George was born on, December, 20, 1937 to George Sr. and Charlotte (Short) Denstedt in Lupton, MI. He married Alva Fergurson, and they spent many wonderful years together until she passed in 2016. George loved hunting and fishing. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for the state, and was a talented musician. He was also a proud US Army veteran.

George is survived by his son Bob (Daphyne) Denstedt of Rose City, grandchildren Victoria, Robert Jr., and Little George. His brothers Carroll Denstedt, Eugene(Jenny) Denstedt, Ron (Tang) Denstedt, and Gary Denstedt. George is preceded in death by his wife Alva, parents, and brothers Larry, and Danny.

Visitation for George will begin Monday, May 8, 2017 from 3-9PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Pastor Daniel Stoneback will officiate with burial following at the Kittle Cemetery in Mio, Michigan.
