Gene P. Earley

Gene P. Earley, age 79 of West Branch, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Mr. Earley had lived in West Branch since 1987, formerly of Pleasant Lake. He was a member of the Stockbridge Masonic Lodge #130, Consistory of Bloomington, IL and the Eastern Star #71, Tawas Bay. He loved woodworking and was a registered amateur clown. Gene is survived by his wife, Joanne Earley of West Branch, children, Phillip (Debra) Earley of Muskegon and Cynthia (Mike) Lisiecki of Tuscola, IL, grandchildren, Amanda and Eddie Earley, Preston Earley, Casie Jo Goebel and Caitlynn Goebel and a great-grandson, Derek Charles. Also surviving is his stepsister, Cleone Spencer of California. He was preceded in death by two sons, Scott and James Earley. A Memorial Service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009. The family will be present to receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Mary E. Lynch will officiate.
