Gary John Jasinski passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on June 30, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan to John and Gladys (Dominowski) Jasinski. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara (Banaszak) and his sons Michael (s. Mary Wazbinski) and Scott (s. Chris Kelly). Gary was a proud grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jacob (s. Michelle), Matthew, Patrick & Claire Jasinski. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Diane) Jasinski; mother-in-Law Dolores Banazack and sister-in-laws Diane Wirgowski, Marcia Miller, Janice Banazack, Elsie Jasinski, and Pam Banaszak. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was met in heaven by his parents, brothers Ronald and Richard, sister Dolores Shurkey, and Brother-in-laws Alfred Banazack, Warren Shurkey, Ed Wirgowski, and Max Miller.
Gary worked for General Motors for 33 years. After retiring he fulfilled his dream of moving to Secord Lake in Alger, Mi and building a beautiful home with his own two hands. He loved fishing, hunting, and wood working and solving the world’s problems with his Thursday morning coffee clutch.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
