Gary George Rice

Gary George Rice, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. He was born on February 22, 1939 in Detroit to Curtis and Dorothy (Harper) Rice. Gary lived in West Branch since 1988, formerly of Rochester. Gary served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1961. On February 23, 1979, he married Theresa Kulpa in Rochester. Gary was a member of the Rods and Relics in West Branch and was on a father and son bowling league. He enjoyed working on and driving cars, models of cars and boats, going to Frankenmuth, and spending time with his family and school friends.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Theresa Rice of West Branch; children, Tracy (Mike) Hoff of Farmington Hills, MI, Ron (Alicia) Mazur of Clayton, NC, Scott (Linda) Rice of Roxboro, NC and Michelle (Bill) McFadden of Yale; 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
