Gail Louise Good

September 21, 1936 — July 8, 2024

Prescott, MI

Gail Louise Good, age 87, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at her home in Prescott, MI surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born on September 21, 1936, in Flint, MI.

Gail lived in Flushing, MI with her loving parents Raymond and Martha Klawuhn, sister Janice, and brothers Arthur and Doug. She graduated from Flushing High School in 1954.

Gail met the love of her life, Kenneth Wayne Good, at Flint Osteopathic Hospital where they were both employed. Their love grew for each other, and they were married June 11, 1966. Their love for one another never stopped growing. Ken’s words were, “I would never have become the man I am, if it were not for the support and love of my wife, Gail.” Gail and Ken lived in Prescott, MI for the past 30 years.

Gail lived a life dedicated to Jesus Christ, His church and her husband. Her dedication and hard work touched the lives of many. Those who knew her remember Gail as a quiet, warm-hearted woman, always embodying humility and generosity in everything she did.

Gail had a vibrant spirit when it came to her hobbies and interests. She found solace in the pages of books, the artistry of personal card stamping, the excitement of birdwatching and the beautiful moments she shared with her cats. These brought her immense joy and peace. She was a member of two groups of fun women that she loved and considered them family, the Questers and Card Stamping Club.

Gail is survived by her brothers Art Klawuhn and Doug Klawuhn, along with her sister-in-law Brenda (Good) King. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Gail has now reunited with her loving husband, Kenneth Good, who passed away on June 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Martha Klawuhn, sister Janice Eden, brothers-in-law George and Alvin Good, as well as sisters-in-law Leona Good, Gail Ann Klawuhn, and Marsha Klawuhn.

As we mourn the loss of a remarkable soul, let us hold dear the memories we shared with Gail. Gail would like us all to remember, “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Gives Me Strength”. Philippians 4:13. Her kindness and gentle nature will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation will begin at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Zion Bible Church in Prescott on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Kevin Switzer will officiate Gails service.
