Frederick A. Zielke

Frederick A. Zielke, age 72 of St. Helen, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at his home. He had lived in St. Helen for the past 23 years. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing, building, cooking and was a “jack of all trades.” Mr. Zielke is survived by his wife, Deborah Zielke of St. Helen, children, Michael (Zelma) Zielke, Patricia Zielke and Darrell Simmons all of Houghton Lake, Cheryl (Wayne) Miller of Davisburg, Christina (Matt Lehr) Myers of Cadillac, Teri Zielke and Hollie Simmons both of Lake City, many many grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, Norbert (Joyce) Zielke of Prescott and Gerald Zielke of Pontiac. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
