Frank Nimeth Jr.

Frank Nimeth Jr., age 84 of Alger, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw. Jr. was born December 20, 1931 to Frank Sr. and Anna Nimeth in Alger. Jr. married Irene Curtis on April 7, 1951. He had lived in Alger all his life. Jr. enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, riding and working on his Harley and spending time with his family.

Jr. is survived by his wife, Irene Nimeth of Alger, daughter, Christine Nimeth of Pahrump, NV, daughter, Susan (Donald) Worden of West Branch, son, Dale Nimeth of West Branch, daughter, Lynn (Thomas) Morris of West Branch, son, Gary (Chris) Nimeth of West Branch, 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving is brother, Harold (Patsy) Nimeth of Sanford and half-brother, Mark Nimeth of Cadillac. He is preceded in death by son, Larry Nimeth and sister, Annie Schmitt.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Alger Cemetery. Rev. Timothy Dibble will officiate.
