Frances Louise Scheid

Frances Louise Scheid, age 85, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her home in Alger, MI with her family by her side. She was born on October 3, 1934 in Kearsarge, MI to Edward and Esther (Tuovila) LaFontaine. Frances lived in Alger for the past 27 years, formerly of Spring Hill, FL and Royal Oak, MI. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Standish and the Forest Lake Association. Frances enjoyed gardening, playing cards and building puzzles.

Frances is survived by her children, Steven (Catherine) Scheid, Suzanne (Brian) McDonald, Sandra (Peter) Wakefield, Sharon Scheid, Stuart Scheid, Sally (Stephen) Mitchell, Sharlene Cardenas, and Scott Scheid; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard in 2018.

A private graveside service at Alger Cemetery has been held with the immediate family.
