Foster F. O. Booth 83 of St. Helen, formerly of Flint, died on September 2, 2006 at his home with his family by his side. Foster was born October 17, 1922 at Hubbard Lake, Michigan to William and Sarah (Grace) Booth. He Married Marie J Bourbeau on October 19, 1946 in Flint. Foster is survived by his wife Marie J. of St. Helen. Four children; Kathy Ritchie (Evan) of Rochester Hills, Judy Burnash (Tom) of St. Helen, Pam Nelson (Ed)of Grand Blanc and Randy Booth of Flint. There are 9 grandchildren, Leisa, Marci, Tracy, Jeremy, Meghann, Brandi, Michael, Bret and Andrew and 8 great grandchildren. Foster is also survived by a sister, Elsie Weaver of Grand Blanc. Foster retired from Consumers Power as a gas lineman crew leader in 1982 after 31 years of service. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of St. Helen, American Legion Post #416 St. Helen, St. Helen Civic Association, Helping Hands of St. Helen, Past member of Tolfree Hospital Auxiliary and hospital volunteer. He served in WWII as a Merchant Marine. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00pm. to 9:00pm. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00am. at Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen. Rev. Andrew Gruenhagen will officiate. Burial will take place on Thursday at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or Hope Lutheran Church.
