Floyd Hoag, age 75 of Mio, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2006. He had lived in Mio for the past 4 years, formerly of West Branch. Floyd enjoyed planting flowers, shopping, bowling, watching TV, especially Red Skelton and John Wayne, attending church and he had a great sense of humor. Floyd will be missed by his AuSable Valley family, Paul, John, Dick, Lena, Ben, Pam, Carl, Vicki, Megan, Rachael and Andrew and all of his many other friends at AuSable Valley Community Mental Health and the surrounding community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Viola Hoag. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2006 until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Kim Chenoweth will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
