Florence Grace Stein

Florence G. Stein, age 86, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family. Florence has lived in Prescott since 1965 previously of Saginaw. Florence worked for Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital from 1958 to1974 and worked as a LPN for Tolfree Memorial Hospital from 1974 to1985, she also worked for Bortz Healthcare in Rose City. Florence is survived by her 5 children Harriet (Pete) Jackson of Prescott, Harry (Peggy) Stein of New Lothrop, Phyllis (Stanley) Frederick of Prescott, William (Linda) Stein of Saginaw and Linda (John) Reminder of West Branch. 48 Grandchildren, 59 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great-Great Grand Children, a sister Maxine Scaffede of Fenton, and is preceded in death by her husband Harry and son Bobby. Visitation will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 5-9 PM and Friday, October 20, 2006 from 12-9 PM. The funeral will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial will follow at the Selkirk Cemetery. Pastor Sam Cottle will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Helping Hands.
