Florence A. Osborn

June 20, 1931 — January 25, 2005

Florence A. Osborn, age 73, passed away at her home Tuesday, January 25, 2005. Mrs. Osborn was very active in her community. She has lived in St. Helen since 1982 previously of River Rouge. She was currently the Richfield Township Supervisor, in Roscommon County. She was a member of the American Legion Aux. Post #416 of St. Helen, and the VFW Aux. Post #5680 of St. Helen. She was a member of the St. Helen Civic Center and served as president for 18yrs., and vice president for 2yrs. Mrs. Osborn was also a member of the St. Helen Snow Packers, and enjoyed helping with the St. Helen Blue Gill Festival. Florence is survived by her Daughter- Marsha (Edward) Dreslinski of St. Helen; Daughter- Cynthia Bowling of River Rouge; Son- Norman (Cynthia) Osborn Jr. of St. Helen; and Daughter- Debra (Peter) Keen of Taylor. 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband- Norm, Parents- Eugene and Josephine, and a Sister- Rose Sims. Visitation at the Steuernol and McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday January 27, 2005 from 4-9 PM, and Friday 12-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the St. Helen Catholic Church. Father James Doherty will officiate with burial following at Farview Cemetery in St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
