Evelyn O. "Gigi" Norris

Evelyn O. “Gigi” Norris, age 89 passed away at her home on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Evelyn had lived in Standish since 2005, formerly of Prescott. She enjoyed ceramics with Irene and friends, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren and watching any Michigan type sports, especially the Detroit Tigers. Evelyn is survived by her children Denny (Judy) Norris of Millington and Prescott, Darold Norris of Prescott and Debbie (L’Dean) Vartanian-Nichols of Standish, her grandchildren Donley, Becky, Katie, Scott, Chad, Shanda, Josh, Jenea and Trent and her great-grandchildren Alyssa, Gavin, Ethan, Lily, Breanna, SaVonn, Nykole, Anabelle, Caleb, Max and Eden. Also surviving is her brother Don (ZoeAnn) Daws of Glennie. She was preceded in death by her husband Donley Norris, her grandson Jerad Vartanian, her parents and four siblings and their spouses. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate with burial following at Selkirk Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage.
