Evelyn Louise Howse

Evelyn Louise Howse, age 92, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her home in St. Helen, MI with her family by her side. She was born on January 2, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Fred and Leona (Clark) Hein. Evie lived in St Helen since 1981, formerly of Jackson, MI. She enjoyed crafts, cross stitch, reading, flower gardening and birdwatching.

Evie is survived by her daughter, Renee Dull of St. Helen; grandson, Gene Dull of St. Helen; neighbors, Mary (Hoyle) McGaha, Karl (Dollie) Rose, and Sonny Roberts all of St. Helen; nieces, Jeanie Maes and Betty Burt both of Jackson; cousin, Edna Curtis of Sylva, NC; and sisters in law, Joyce Trumble of Saginaw, MI, Vivian Babbs of Jackson, MI and Betty Keith of Jackson, MI. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Curt Howse in 1993.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Tim Dibble will officiate.
