Evelyn Ann Murphy

Evelyn Ann Murphy, age 88 of Prudenville, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at The Villa at West Branch. Evelyn was born on February 15, 1931 to John and Anna (Schumacher) Suhy in Detroit, MI. Evelyn lived in Prudenville since 1988, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI. She enjoyed painting and gardening.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Brian (Deborah) Murphy of Palmyra, VA, daughter, Laura Murphy of MI, sisters; Veronica Thompson of Rochester Hills, Marian Faltea of Warren, and companion, Jack Mifflin of Prudenville who has been in Evelyn’s life since he was 8 years old. She was the love of his life for 28 ½ years.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
