Eugene Lynn Wooster

Eugene Lynn Wooster, 77, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in St. Helen, MI. Gene was born October 17, 1945, in Flint, MI to William and Lillian (Doe) Wooster.

Gene worked as a Tool Cutter Grinder for General Motors for 30 years. He has been a resident of St. Helen since 2005. He was fond of woodworking, target shooting, sudoku puzzles, and not wearing his hearing aids. He served in the Army as a wheel and track mechanic during the Vietnam war and was active at VFW post #5680.

He is survived by his brother Gary, his daughter Cindy Nation, his grandchildren Katherine Nation and Kyle Sagley, and his dog, Henry. He is also survived by a large group of friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his brother Charles, his son James, his wife Patricia, his daughter Laura, and his sister Sharma.

Per his wishes, he has been cremated.

His memorial will be held at the VFW Hall in St. Helen on August 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. His life will be celebrated with good memories and good friends.
