Ethel (Lee) Tenny

Lee Tenny, age 83 of West Branch, formerly of Bay City, passed away at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of West Branch and she retired from the Bay City Times after 28 years of service. Survivors include her children, Doug (Janice) Doane of Saginaw, Stanley (Esther) Doane of Linwood and Linda (Mark) Tetu of West Branch, 6 grandchildren including her special granddaughter Lori Tetu of West Branch who helped care for her for many years, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her first husband E. Jerry Doane, her second husband Alan Tenny and her parents, Stanley and Helen Carpenter who owned and operated Quapa Resort at Clear Lake, MI. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday August 11, 2004 from 7-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officate.
