Ethel F. Hodge, age 88 of St. Helen, passed away December 5, 2011 at Autumnwood Nursing Home in McBain. Mrs. Hodge had lived in St. Helen since 1977, formerly of Flint. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a former commander and president. She retired from Perry Printing in Flint after 20 years of service. Ethel is survived by her children, Patricia Corlew of Grand Blanc, Harold Hodge of St. Helen, Greg (Mary) Hodge of Swartz Creek, and Michelle (Terry) Levanduski of Cadillac, 2 grandchildren Julie and Stephanie and 3 great-grandchildren, Brandan, Tyler and Brianna. Also surviving are her sisters, Doris Mausolf of Bad Axe and Joanne (Bruce) Garrett of Flint. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 2005 and her brothers, Ernie, Fred and Jim Schmitt. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Community Baptist Church of St. Helen. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
