Ernest W. Mccarn

Ernest W. McCarn, age 64 of St. Helen, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 7, 2007. He had lived in St. Helen since 1999, formerly of Laingsburg. He was a member of AA of the Lansing area. He enjoyed fishing, golf, hunting, woodworking and going to the casino. Mr. McCarn is survived by his wife, Patricia McCarn of St. Helen, children; Karl (JoAnn) McCarn of Houghton Lake, Londa (Bob) Mills of Lansing and Kenneth Ward McCarn of East Lansing, grandchildren; Robert (Augusta) McCarn, Melissa (Robert) Tooker, Amber McCarn, Patrick McCarn and Anthony Mills and great-grandsons; Robert Fred and David Ward. Also surviving are his parents, Florence Beebe of Marion and Ward McCarn of Evart, brothers; Lewis (Dawn) McCarn of Marion and Gary (Vicki) McCarn of Marshall, his sister; Pam (Roger) Henning of Charlotte, several nieces and nephews and step-brothers and step-sisters. He was preceded in death by his step-parents, William Beebe and Patricia Trayer McCarn. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2007 until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate.
