Elva Jean Morse, age 61 of Rose City, passed away at her home. She had lived in Rose City for the past 15 years, formerly of Clarkston. She was a member of St. Bart's in Mio and she enjoyed ceramics and reading. She was a special mother and grandmother to all. Elva is survived by her husband, Kenneth Morse of Rose City, children--Kim Leakey and Kevin Morse both of Rose City, Kelly Morse of North Carolina and Kristie (Bill) Pullen of Lewiston. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Cassie (Allen) and Kari (Jeff), her great-grandson Connor, her aunt, Carol (Bob) Hourron of Florida and special friends, Norma and Bob Taylor of Prescott and Ralph Farley of West Branch. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Morse and her parents, Richard and Mable Hine. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 4:00 P.M. Ann Todd will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
