Elsie Mae Ready

Elsie Mae Ready, age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at The Villa at West Branch. She was born on February 24, 1941 in Sandusky to Harold and Cora (Stein) Stein. Elsie lived in West Branch since 1994, formerly of Saginaw. She married Leslie Ready on June 16, 1984. She is a member of the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church and sold Avon in the years past. Elsie worked at Stover Stamping in Stover, MI and enjoyed ceramics, reading and people watching.

Elsie is survived by her husband, Leslie Ready of West Branch; step son, Kenneth (Wava) Ready of Birch Run; step daughter, Kimberly Ready of Saginaw; sisters and brothers in law, Leah (Michael) Potter, Carol (Bill) Power, and Dennis Hillborn; and step brothers in law, Raymond (Diane) Martin and Charles (Shelley) Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one aunt.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor David Kurtz will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
