Elsie I. Jacobs

Elsie I. Jacobs age 79 of West Branch, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her home. Elsie had lived in West Branch since 1997, formerly of Davisburg. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for 7 years and West Branch Regional Medical Center for 12 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch and she enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Elsie is survived by her husband, Jim Jacobs of West Branch, children Connie (Mark) Cooper of Sand Lake, Brian (Stacia) Lemon of Waterford, Dennis Lemon of Grayling and Michael (Kimberly) Lemon of White Lake, grandchildren; Lon, Sara, Becky, Jamie, Steve, Jimmie and Terry and great-grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Adrianne, Faith, Ayanna, Angelina, Alexandria, Alexander, Jaxon and Makaila (due August 15th ). Also surviving is her brother-in-law Bill Jacobs of Cadillac and sister-in-law Mary Martinek of Traverse City. Visitation at the Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch will begin on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Tom Teall will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
