Elsie F. Kitter

Elsie F. Kitter, age 94, passed away on Friday November 18, 2005 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Mrs. Kitter resided in West Branch since 1970, formerly of South Lyon, Michigan. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Log Church and Christ The King Lutheran Church. Elsie enjoyed farming and gardening. Surviving family members include 3 daughters, Martha (Howard) Hublein of Howell, Linda (Jim) Beers of Washington D.C., Kristine (Bill) Upham of Gladwin and one son Norman (LuAnn) Kitter of Wyoming, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one brother Daniel Neuman of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Preceding Elsie in death was her husband Ludwig Kitter, one brother and 2 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Saturday November 19, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday November 20, 2005 from 2-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday November 21, 2005, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home in West Branch with Rev. Paul Klassen and Rev. Dan Stoneback officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Edwards Township Cemetery.
